Really good pizza! Gluten free pizza plus other gluten free items. Biker friendly. Take out-eat in. Right off I-95 easy to get to.

Enjoyed it. We stopped off the highway on the way to Mystic. We had the poutine, two meatball grinders, clam chowder and a chicken sandwich. All was satisfactory, timely and very friendly service.

I went to Dan's for the first time on July 20. No matter where I go, if fried pickles are on the menu we (my daughter and I) have to try them. Unfortunately this time my daughter was not with me. I was driving through from a road trip with two business partners. My partners have never tried the fried pickles anywhere so they were first timers. I have to say out of the many places I have had them, Dan's were the best. I just knew since my partners had not had them, they wouldn't care for them so I could bring the rest home. Well, the plate was clean in no time. Next time I am over that way, I will stop for some more pickles.

Always a ton of fun and a good time to be had at Dan's. Live music, great staff, excellent grub and fun times. See you at Dans!

Excellent food and excellent atmosphere. This place is in the perfect location as well, it's a weekly tradition for me and my wife! You definitely have to try the bbq pizza :)

There is a fun country atmosphere in here, similar to a toned down Texas Roadhouse. The menu is expansive for a smaller restaurant, and covers most of the basics. There are pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, and entrees with steak or seafood. We had excellent, fast service. The food was really great quality. I have absolutely no complaints, and I would love to see some of the live music they have! The only reason it wasn't five stars is because there was nothing particularly memorable about the place to set it apart, meaning there isn't a reason to seek it out over other places. But if you haven't been, definitely visit!

The food and service here are very good. We came two nights in a row and had a great meal both times. The noise level is very high because the floors are bare wood and dinner there is extremely busy. Good selection of brews on tap and generous food portions made us happy!

  • Mitch K.

Not too shabby. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here (doubtful if I'll ever be back), but the burger was tasty and the onion rings were delish. The clientele is a bit...countryish?

As far as a restaurant it's alright. The food is good enough but nothing really special. As a bar, it's great. They generally have bands there and the outside deck is great sitting outside in the summer. I've eaten here a few times (always on weekends at night although not terribly late) and it's just too loud to really enjoy a meal. I could understand if I was just eating some nachos or something but when you're serving actual dishes intended to be dinner I would like to be able to have a conversation with the person across from me without shouting. Also, I don't see it being very kid friendly. You're better off getting it to bring home. Huge parking lot which is nice.

My first visit was good and the second was very disappointing. I received an overcooked burger (I ordered medium rare and got medium well) and my companion was served very fatty ribs. I thought I would give it another try. While entering the restaurant, I noticed that a booth received their "take-out containers and were ready to leave. Since I was one person, I was told I could only sit at the bar and all the booths were filled. I said I would wait for the next available booth and I was told that they were all just filled and I could only sit at the bar. I left and will never return.

Best pizza in RHODE ISLAND hands down. This pizza place moved down the road about 500 yards closer to Route 95. Now called Dan's Place same owner and now has a bigger menu. Great new place!! AAA+++

We've been here for lunch, and just recently for dinner. We love the ginormous portions of their very good food! I had the small Sweet & Tangy BBQ pizza, and was worried I would leave hungry, as it comes with no side dishes. However, I had half to take home as leftovers, after sharing with my husband. The restaurant looks very nice. I like all the old local pics on the wall.

Used to be a good meal at a good value...well not anymore. We have had several good meals in the past at this restaurant (one of the only eateries in West Greenwich, RI.) This evening, we could not have had a worse experience. If you like cold, over priced small amounts of food served to you by people who cannot answer one question about a menu entree, never mind tell you what the evening specials are, then Dan's Place (or Big Dan's as I now affectionately refer to it) is your kind of place. When we asked the server if they recently hired a new chef, she proudly replied "why yes we did" After we mentioned our concerns to her, she sent Big Dan himself our to the "dining room" where he grumbled "What's the Problem?" He explained that the chicken quesadilla was cold beause the chef sliced the chicken too think. Any by the way, he denied they hired a new chef recently after the server had already confirmed the contrary. Lie #1, Lie #2, the salmon entree which was dry and over cooked and no larger than a deck of playing cards, was "the same ounces as always." After ordering this entree a couple of times in the past, I knew it was barely half the size as usual. Then Big Dad just walked away from the table without as much as an I am so sorry you had a bad experience, please do try us again.... You can't screw up both entrees with cold, bland, small protions of food and expect us to come back for more. We may be glutens but not for punishment, only for good food at a good value. Consider us having moved on from Dan's Place. You should too.

I love this place. It's a great destination for a ride on the Harley. Very biker friendly bar. Always a good amount of bikes there. Pizza is great! Build your own burger, good seafood. Always good entertainment on the weekends. Waitresses are all very friendly.

There is always a wait, but I enjoy them having an open bar where you can wait for a table. The service and food are always good. Been here dozens of times and I'm always impressed!

Just had another fantastic meal at Dans! Poutine(of course) wings and prime rib... All excellent! Love this place! Our server Christine was the best! The prime rib was cooked just as ordered and was a very large portion for the price. Poutine is like nothing you have ever tasted. Love the vibe here and definitely will make the trip out again.

The food and service are very good here. I have tried the steak and cheese grinder and was very good. The pizza is also good. Many toppings to choose from. The Italian grinder is also worth ordering again, as is the chicken breast grinder. The best item on the menu is Poutine!! A Canadian tradition.

This place is enormous, excellent service, they have a live band most nights. Fun place to grab pizza and a beer but I actually got the salmon which was absolutely delicious, very surprising for a pizza place so please don't judge on what they are known for because the did an excellent job on the salmon

Got takeout today from Dans and it was awesome! We got a taco pizza with gluten free crust. It was so yummy and ready in a short amount of time. We will definitely be returning to try more of what Dans has to offer!!

Dan's Place was part of the Pizza Passport offered by RI food fights. Until then I hadn't heard of it. I checked out their menu online and realized, yes, it's worth a try and the longer drive from Providence. Reading an appetizer list will usually let me know how creative a place is. There were the usual suspects, but then also fried pickles, salmon stuffies, poutine, and hog wings. Of course, I went for the pizza. I had the special of the day: clams casino pizza. I was not let down. I also took advantage of their 50 cent wings -- the Thai sauce was delicious and the bourbon sauce was homemade and quite sticky and marvelous. The rueben sandwich was also great with plenty of corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and an outstanding marble rye bread. The sweet potato fries are ON POINT. For dessert, my party decided to split an order of fried oreos, which were well executed and served with a big scoop of ice cream. I was sad to not have enough room to try the grapenut pudding, which is a weakness of mine. All in all, everything I ordered was pretty great. My friend's Cuban sandwich was a bit too salty, which we blamed on the ham. He took some off the sandwich to make it less salty, and was satisfied. The only issue I encountered was the polite, but very distracted waitress. She seemed to be overwhelmed with her section and didn't seem to really listen to us when we spoke to her, but her positive attitude made up for it. Bathrooms were clean and the bar is super cool with a motorcycle parked above it in the air! I'll return for sure.

  • Becky B.

We met up here for lunch with some friends. It's a decent sized place and had a motorcycle theme. The menu has a lot of basics--pizza, burgers, quesadillas, sandwiches, etc. We got potato skins and mozzarella sticks for our apps. Personally, I did not like the cheese sticks. I didn't like the breading or taste. My husband and friends thought they were pretty good. They looked odd as well and I wouldn't get them again. I'm not a fan of potato skins but they looked good and everyone else enjoyed them. I got a small cheese pizza, a couple burgers were ordered and a steak quesadilla. The pizza was good, everyone enjoyed their meals. Overall, I wasn't that impressed. My pizza stand had dried ketchup on it and I thought the food I had was average. I would go back but I wouldn't get the cheese sticks!

Pickle chips are amazing!!! Portuguese cheese burger was awesome, and sweet potato fries topped it all off! Great attentive and courteous staff make you feel like your at a friends house for dinner. Definitely taking the drive again. Food was well cooked in a timely manner and well priced!

Besides being in the part of RI of where you only go if you live down that way, are lost, or are going to CT, Dan's Place is a pretty great place. $7 pitchers and a great selection of apps, sandwiches and pizza how can you go wrong? I am a big fan of their calzones. They have a great buffalo chicken calzone. I like the places that make their calzones with the grilled chicken instead of the fried. I have not had any food I have not liked. Not to mention they have trivia on Tuesday nights that we come to quite frequently. If you hear a cleverly inappropriate team name its most likely the team I am on. Try out Dan's Place, I have enjoyed all of my visits here so far.

recently had a solid lunch here. boyfriend and i were in the area, and i wanted to use the opportunity to go somewhere new for lunch. after doing my Yelp due diligence (thank you, fellow yelpers!) i settled upon this place. it did not disappoint. the restaurant is literally right off the highway, so it was very easy to access. the layout is a bit confusing- you actually come upon the back of the restaurant first, so pay attention to the "employee parking" signs and keep on driving. once inside we were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated without any wait. the look on the inside is blonde wood, and very handsome. think your typical chain restaurant but, well... not a chain, so the feel was a bit more authentic and less kitschy. featured over the bar is a real motorcycle, that gives the room a cool focal point. the menu is pretty straightforward, with a host of american bar & grill standards, and a few surprises scattered throughout. we started out with the fried pickles, a small order of poutine, and 1 "stuffie" (RI for stuffed clam). the pickles were excellent- they were super thin, and the batter was light, crisp, and not at all overwhelming. the ranch sauce could have used more zip, but it was okay. the poutine was very good and i recommend ordering the small size. it is a heavy dish and if you plan on taking down any of your actual entree, you'll want to have the small portion. the only comment my boyfriend had was that, traditionally, he is used to a beef gravy, and dan's version comes with a black pepper chicken gravy. i thought it was still very good. the flavor on the stuffie was celery-forward, though still tasty. i was a little disappointed in the amount of clam, and really had to hunt through the stuffing to find it. at $2.59/each, its a good amount of food for your buck, but not necessarily a good value, in my opinion. for entrees, my boyfriend got the fried buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, and i got the cubano with cole slaw. unlike other restaurants who serve you buffalo chicken tenders as a sandwich, this is a breaded and fried full chicken breast. i think that made it easier to eat, but it wasn't what my boyfriend was expecting. the flavor, though, was good, and he enjoyed that they automatically gave him the option of ranch vs. bleu cheese (since he's not a fan of bleu cheese). my cubano is one of the better i've had. pulled pork, ham, swiss, dijon, and pickles were all assembled on a ciabatta roll that was crisply pressed. the pork had great flavor, and the melted swiss and dijon formed the perfect glue to keep the whole sandwich together. the cole slaw was pretty average, but with a sprinkle or two of pepper, it hit the spot for me. the only real drawback we had was the service. our server was prompt, efficient, and got everything right, but- he never once told us his name, or smiled. additionally, there were several instances when he was asking us a question as he walked by our table... without stopping. i understand it was nearing the end of the lunch shift, and he could visibly be seen doing his side work, however- i'm still a paying customer, and deserve friendly attention. lastly- at 3:30pm on a saturday afternoon, my boyfriend and i did not enjoy the live music. while the musician was good, and had struck up a nice banter with some of the bar crowd, we found it nearly impossible to have a conversation. i'm not knocking live music, but i don't think it's appropriate in the afternoon. because this place is a drive for us, we won't become regular customers, but i would stop in again when we are in the area.

Stopped here because they have EV Charging. You need charge point app or card but it is free. Convenient location right off I95. Food was good, had a buffalo chicken sandwich and tried the fried pickle chips as well. I would recommend and will stop here again.

Food here is awesome! Heavy meals, comfort style foods. Highlights for food: RI Style Calamari (lightly battered calamari tossed in a white wine garlic sauce); stuffies (Quahog shells with chopped clam and stuffing, baked up; Chicken Wings, Burgers, Steak Drink Highlights: Malibu Punch Bucket (super deal! very tasty!), Apple Pie Moonshine shot (dessert...in a shot glass!); great beer selection! Can get crowded at times, turnover is pretty decent though. Have a drink at the bar while waiting for a table. Check this place out if you're nearby for sure!

great bar, service and lively evening atmosphere with music or trivia, or something usually happening. locally owned. also, they have fun events and fundraisers with motorcycle rides in the summer. Harley Davidson, country, motorcycle, local atmosphere. food is okay. good variety offered, but nothing that I'd say is the best anywhere. days are family friendly, but nights get loud.

I had never been to Dan's before and I must say I wasn't expecting all that much... It turned into one of my favorite places. The establishment is very large and inviting. The food and overall experience was delightful. The Poutine was fantastic (one of the main reasons I will be back)... We went on trivia night but didnt play, we are thinking about bringing a team and playing next time. We WILL be back. ;)

Completely mediocre! The Greek pizza is a nice treat, just about everything else is frozen food, nothing fancy in look or flavor. The atmosphere is way too loud for an enjoyable dinner. They get a large bar crowd and tend to forget about diners who are not out to get drunk and listen to cover bands scream.

Best meal/service I've had in awhile. The server was extremely nice and welcoming. Started with the nachos appetizer. It came out quickly and was delicious. My boyfriend doesn't like jalapeños or olives and they had no problem putting them on the side for me. I got the grilled salmon with a side salad and mashed potatoes. It was perfect. He got sirloin steak. He's picky and complained it was too fatty. The waitress told us they are getting a new menu soon and it's not going to be on there anymore. All in all a great experience!!

Who doesn't like pizza? We all love it. What makes Dan's place the best is that its not just pizza. He now has everything you can think of and its all AMAZING. Pizza, burgers, calzones, sandwiches, appetizers, and full meal options. The staff is good as is the atmosphere. The hostess and take out girls are always friendly and great me with a smile and hello.

If you live in Exeter, West Greenwich, or the woodsy part of Richmond, Dan's place is one of the only places to go for dinner. And it's a good thing too, because there are plenty of delicious options for a great price. My little boy loves their pizza, but I love the burgers. Deliciously seasoned and prepared the way you want it. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the owner Dan is a nice guy who cares about his customers. Need a night out and don't feel like driving to the city? If you live in this rural area as I once did, Dan's place can provide a good night out with live music, a large bar, interesting locals, and all kinds of passers through thanks to the truck stop across the street. Def a gem in South County.

Just a quick note- I ordered the haddock special for lunch on a recent first-time visit, and then saw the meal again a few hours later. My colleague had the buff chick calzone, which looked good. Place looked pretty good if you're in the area, but I probably can't get beyond the food poisoning, so I won't be back.

A big surprise in the wilds of Exeter. Went here with my non-foodie brother and cousins expecting a mediocre time of it. BOY was I wrong. Their Reuben Sandwich was one of the best I've had. Thick slices of marbled rye., absolutely delicious coenwd beef ( and lots of it) just e nough sauekraut and russian dressing to hold it ll together. Good fries and onion rings , too. I've tried their steak tips and fish and chips as well, but I keep coming back for the Reuben. FROMPROVIDENCE!!!! ...and if yyou're a rhode Islander you know what a tremendous chore that it. Actually Dan's is no more than 15 min south of Providence by freeway....right off the 95 southX Rt 102 intersection. Very informal but a great comfort food place....I really should try a few more things from the menu. The pizza looks good. but that Reuben snags me just about every time I walk in the door. TV is really loud especially if ther';s a game on...obnoxious , actually....but it's tolerable if you can get a seat in one of the "satelite" dining rooms.

  • Jon N.

Solid pizza. Poutine was good, and the wife loved the pickle chips. If you're looking for a place that is consistent with all of their food then this is it. Would give it a 3 1/2 rating if I could, but that's neither here nor there. They also have gluten free pizza and pasta.

Very quiet when we went, off hours, the way we like it, so I can't speak to noise level. The bar was nice, waitress/bartender was efficient and friendly. Took awhile to choose our food...there was such a diverse menu! I ended up with the steak and salad, but I have to say my steak was quite fatty for a delmonico, but my hubby's fried clams were very good. Good portion and nice light batter. I will definitely go back to try more meals, want to try the veal next time.

I ordered to go on 8/13/12 to be picked up at 7:35pm after my sons football practice. I felt it was just OK and I doubt I will be back. The employee that answered the phone was short, snotty and rushed me. When I went to pick up our order at the designated time. I stood at the counter (right in front of the cashier) and she not one time looked up to ask me to wait a minute. She ignored me for over a minute while she was counting tips in the tip jar. I gave her my name and she snapped "its not ready" and walked away. Half of my order (the fried appetizers) were sitting on the counter getting cold and soggy while I waited an additional 10 minutes for our pizza to get done. We ordered fried pickles, calamari, a calzone, pepperoni pizza and a spinach pie. My husband liked the calzone and the kids liked the pizza. The spinach pie was burned on the bottom and dry. Hubby didn't really care for the pickles. they were soggy, cold and he said didn't have much flavor so he ended up throwing them away. The calamari was a little chewy and soggy but they were a little more edible than the spinach pie. Nothing makes me more crazy than spending my hard earned money on food that should not be served. How hard is it to see if something is burnt or soggy? I should have taken all of the food back and got a refund but it was getting late. Not only did I get Atrocious service, the food was disappointing. Spending $50 on takeout is NOT something I want to do when the overall experience sucks. I will make sure I tell everyone I know that this place isn't worth their time or money. I really hope Dan's management/owners read their reviews here to see exactly what their employees are up to while serving the public.

Good pizza, beer and skins. Love the dans place pizza (cheeseburger pizza). Wait for a table can be long on weekends so prepare to wait or get takeout! I live in Foster and we will drive here for takeout (20 minutes).

Ok, so I sold an Iphone and the person I sold it to said to meet at Dan's Place. I never heard of this place before and told my wife about it when I got back from the sale. We went there Saturday night 11/3/12 to have a few beers and see a band called "The Empty Bottle" Well, the beer was ice cold in frosted glasses and only 2.50 each. The band was amazing. We didn't eat any food, but the place was packed with people eating, so it couldn't be bad. We looked at the menu and it was full of great sounding food. Also, the restrooms were pristine and that is a huge deal to me. I would highly recommend this place for a few beers, music Fri and Sat night and why not try the food. We will be going back soon. An interesting burger, pasta and pizza pub in the middle of nowhere off Rt 95 at exit 5 in West Greenwich. It is a big, clean, busy bar with big TV's, a separate dining room, an outdoor patio for the bikers to hang out in and drink, and a menu with several options. The prices are reasonable and on the night I was there, though busy, service was lightening fast. I ordered a chili cheeseburger that was good, but the finely-ground ground beef they used had an odd texture, and they seemed to skimp a bit on the fries. Though they are family-friendly, all their advertising and promotions seem to surround drinking and beer specials, so I might be tempted to leave the kiddies home after dark. Overall, a nice place.

Dan's is a solid restaurant with a good variety of food. Had it not been for their extensive options for those with gluten allergies, I probably would have given them 3 stars, but having so many options really bumps them up a notch in my book! I do have a couple of minor complaints about the restaurant, which I view more as warnings than anything else. It certainly doesn't deter me from revisiting this place! 1) Location: On the plus side, Dan's is literally right off of 95. On the negative, it's in West Greenwich, which really isn't convenient for most people. 2) Wait times: On a Friday at 7 pm, I can expect a wait. That's fine. But, it's hard for me to comprehend why at 9 pm on a Saturday with open tables I'm told there is a 45 minute wait. To be honest, it almost seemed like they wanted me to leave when I heard the wait time. And leave, I did. All in all, Dan's is a good, inexpensive place to grab a bite, especially with your gluten-free comrades!

Good pizza....good stuffies....music on weekends...loud in main dining room....decent service. The main dining area has HORRIBLE acoustics and is hard to have a conversation when the place is crowded. The bar area is much nicer to dine in. It has better atmosphere and is less loud. The main area is a bit boring but probably better for larger groups and people bringing kids. Some of the wait-staff has been fantastic while a few others are just average to so-so. Prices are pretty decent and the owner seems to be around most times I am there. This gives me comfort that he keeps a handle on how is place is doing. He is friendly and always seems to be talking to someone he knows.

Found Dans by mistake, but it was a good one. I can recommend the steaks. Hard to beat for the price. The one I had was better than what I had at 1149 at half the cost. The staff is friendly, but a bit slow. I think the focus is on people they know and the new guys are tended to to when they can. That being said, it is still worth the trip. I have also had their Ribs. Very good with the sauce. If you like them without the sauce (dry rub only), and you are from the south, you may be disappointed. Not sure why people are afraid to put seasonings on meat, but there you go. The portions all around me looked fantastic. The coleslaw is top notch.

First things first. Our waitress carried around the black "tab" holder in her pants over her butt crack. Not in her back pocket, but wedged deep in her jeans. Let's hope she was wearing a long shirt. The buffalo wings were pretty good. Quite spicy for a sauce that you don't get to choose the temperature on. The bleu cheese is served in a plastic capped container straight from the refrigerator. Not exactly presentation-friendly but still tasty. My bourbon hamburger was delicious though pretty impossible to eat because it was gigantic. Cutting it in half just made it messier. Sauce was served on the side rather than on the hamburger but my guess is that it was to avoid soggy bread. Good call. We couldnt get our waitresses attention to grab us silverware until our buffalo wings had been sitting on the table for 10 minutes either. Other than that, this place is very clean, very elaborate and very "chain" looking though I have no idea if it's a chain. If you just picked a Christmas Tree up the road at the tree farm and you're looking for lunch like we were, it's a good convenient place to stop.

Nice location close to home and convenient to the highway. Looks tidy inside and out with plenty of parking. Large and varied menu with gluten free options for several dishes - including pizza. Our dinners have always been well prepared - simple, good food - decent value. The service has been spotty...not so much inattentive as impersonal. I need to remember next time we go to ask NOT to be seated in the dining room that overlooks the parking lot. The two-story ceiling looks nice, but it's SO loud and cavernous in there - it is the single turn-off of going to Dan's. The booths surrounding the bar are not as chaotic. As for the wait time....it is a popular place and I feel like the number of tables inside is less than what you would expect from the huge exterior of the place. But on our visit, we were told it would be 25 minutes but seated in about 2....

I had never been to Dan's Place, but had heard great things about it from several friends and family members. My sister and I decided to meet here for a drink since it is a central location for us. It was a busy night and we were told we had about a 30 minute wait, since the bar was packed we had decided we wanted to wait for a table. I was a little disappointed when we found ourselves waiting well over an hour, and the hostess didn't seem to know what was going on. (this was my only complaint) When we were finally seated we decided to split a pitcher of the sangria, which was not only a good deal, but was delicious! It had just the right mixture of fruit and wine flavor. We each got something to eat and the food was delicious! While we waited a long time for our table, it was made up for in food service. The waitress was very attentive and checked on us several times. The portions were great and I left satisfied. I would definitely go back. If you like live music, they also have bands on the weekend. While loud, the band was amazing went, although would not be a good setting for a first date, etc.

Since I live locally Dans is one of our only options for dining. However, we are lucky to have such a great place- we love it! Love the country feel, the service is always great, and the restaurant is very clean. We have never been disappointed with a meal. Typically we sit at the bar, which we wish was a little bigger, but if we grab a drink and wait 15 minutes usually a couple of seats open up. The pizza is one of the best in RI. Bourbon wings and fried green beans are two of our favorite apps. The shrimp scampi (greek style). chicken pot pie and the beef stew are also phenomenal. The bartenders rock.... Steve's our man! Good selection of beers on tap, lots of fun drink choices or go simple with a glass of wine. We love the option to sit in on trivia night or just to pop in and listen to a band on a weekend. Dan has done a great job with this place and everyone should swing in for a visit if you are in the area.

I've been here now several times. I've had burgers on two trips and fish & chips on a third, every time the food has been just perfect. Today I ate a blue cheeseburger cooked medium. It was cooked right and the french fries were nice and hot. My brother had a tuna melt and he really liked his too. He had them pack his leftovers to take home because he couldn't eat it all. Our server today was Stephan. He was very good. We wanted and waited for nothing with his service. Definitely was on top of his game. I don't get up that way too often, but when I do, you can bet, I'll be back at Dan's Place.

This is a great place to bring the family or just just go out with friends. Their prices are great but their food is sometimes inconsistent depending on the day you go. Last time I went I had the steak tips and one was well done and the rest were rare. Just stick to the sandwiches, burgers and pizza. Their drinks are also amazing an have a good selection on draft as well.

Dan's place had one of the best pizzas. The service was great! Everyone seemed to be enjoying their jobs. They have been very creative in creating different pies with many different toppings. We tried Big Dans pizza. Which is like a Big Mac in pizza form. It was absolutely delicious. I love thousand island dressing and with that combined with cheese sauce, ground beef, lettuce, onions, and pickles, it was very tasty! The Philly cheesesteak pizza was great as well, but didn't quite compare to the "big dan's" I can't wait to try some of their other pies. I'll be returning very soon.

Consistent food, good drinks, great staff.. Little loud but that's to be expected with the huge ceilings, especially when the bands are playing, Started with stuffies, ok average. I had a Mediterranean salad and hubby had a chicken sandwich with cole slaw, both good but nothing outstanding, so if you looking for a great place to go with consistent food, this is your place... When not on a diet I recommend the pizzas and the pulled pork nachos , they are delicious.

Just had another fantastic meal at Dans! Poutine(of course) wings and prime rib... All excellent! Love this place! Our server Christine was the best! The food and service are very good here. I have tried the steak and cheese grinder and was very good. The pizza is also good. Many toppings to choose from.

But if you haven't been, definitely visit!

recently had a solid lunch here. boyfriend and i were in the area, and i wanted to use the opportunity to go somewhere new for lunch. after doing my Yelp due diligence (thank you, fellow yelpers!) i settled upon this place. it did not disappoint. the restaurant is literally right off the highway, so it was very easy to access. the layout is a bit confusing- you actually come upon the back of the restaurant first, so pay attention to the "employee parking" signs and keep on driving. once inside we were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated without any wait. the look on the inside is blonde wood, and very handsome. think your typical chain restaurant but, well... not a chain, so the feel was a bit more authentic and less kitschy. featured over the bar is a real motorcycle, that gives the room a cool focal point. the menu is pretty straightforward, with a host of american bar & grill standards, and a few surprises scattered throughout. we started out with the fried pickles, a small order of poutine, and 1 "stuffie" (RI for stuffed clam). the pickles were excellent- they were super thin, and the batter was light, crisp, and not at all overwhelming. the ranch sauce could have used more zip, but it was okay. the poutine was very good and i recommend ordering the small size. it is a heavy dish and if you plan on taking down any of your actual entree, you'll want to have the small portion. the only comment my boyfriend had was that, traditionally, he is used to a beef gravy, and dan's version comes with a black pepper chicken gravy. i thought it was still very good. the flavor on the stuffie was celery-forward, though still tasty. i was a little disappointed in the amount of clam, and really had to hunt through the stuffing to find it. at $2.59/each, its a good amount of food for your buck, but not necessarily a good value, in my opinion. for entrees, my boyfriend got the fried buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, and i got the cubano with cole slaw. unlike other restaurants who serve you buffalo chicken tenders as a sandwich, this is a breaded and fried full chicken breast. i think that made it easier to eat, but it wasn't what my boyfriend was expecting. the flavor, though, was good, and he enjoyed that they automatically gave him the option of ranch vs. bleu cheese (since he's not a fan of bleu cheese). my cubano is one of the better i've had. pulled pork, ham, swiss, dijon, and pickles were all assembled on a ciabatta roll that was crisply pressed. the pork had great flavor, and the melted swiss and dijon formed the perfect glue to keep the whole sandwich together. the cole slaw was pretty average, but with a sprinkle or two of pepper, it hit the spot for me. the only real drawback we had was the service. our server was prompt, efficient, and got everything right, but- he never once told us his name, or smiled. additionally, there were several instances when he was asking us a question as he walked by our table... without stopping. i understand it was nearing the end of the lunch shift, and he could visibly be seen doing his side work, however- i'm still a paying customer, and deserve friendly attention. lastly- at 3:30pm on a saturday afternoon, my boyfriend and i did not enjoy the live music. while the musician was good, and had struck up a nice banter with some of the bar crowd, we found it nearly impossible to have a conversation. i'm not knocking live music, but i don't think it's appropriate in the afternoon. because this place is a drive for us, we won't become regular customers, but i would stop in again when we are in the area.

I make a point of going to Dan's Place on Saturday afternoons for the live music! Great service, atmosphere and food! Rock on, Lil Rog!

great food, good atmosphere, and reasonable prices. we had a flood a few months back and had to eat at Dan's more than we would have liked, but they had so many different choices that it was hard to get sick of it. highly recommend.

The food and service here are very good. We came two nights in a row and had a great meal both times. The noise level is very high because the floors are bare wood and dinner there is extremely busy. Good selection of brews on tap and generous food portions made us happy!

Huge parking lot which is nice.

great bar, service and lively evening atmosphere with music or trivia, or something usually happening. locally owned. also, they have fun events and fundraisers with motorcycle rides in the summer. Harley Davidson, country, motorcycle, local atmosphere. food is okay. good variety offered, but nothing that I'd say is the best anywhere. days are family friendly, but nights get loud.

My boyfriend and I love dans. We have been coming here for about one year. We get pizza here at least once a week. The service and wait staff are always friendly. Every time we go we always ask for Steve !

This place is amazing. Tried something different on the menu every time I've gone and always been satisfied!!! Prices are awesome, but they could have a bigger variety on tap for my liking!

Good music, good people, good food. good prices. Dance floor could be larger, but this place is solid and books good local cover bands. Very fun on a Friday or Saturday night!
